Overview
Every 8-liner and skill board uses the same 36/10 card edge, but every maker wires it differently. The CIO-3610U doesn’t care: each of the 46 contacts gets the same universal circuit that can read a button, drive a lamp, pulse a meter or measure a voltage.
Learn mode maps an unknown harness in a couple of minutes — it measures every pin, safely probes 12 V loads behind a current-limit latch and asks you to press BET, SPIN, LINES and the rest. The profile is saved on the board.
One USB-C cable to the PC carries a HID keyboard (buttons work in any browser game), a control port for lamps and meters, four RS-232 ports for the bill acceptor, printer and touchscreen, and a USB-A passthrough.
Pinout-agnostic
46 edge contacts + 2 spare terminals, each configurable as input, lamp, meter or output.
Safe by default
Outputs are disabled in hardware until armed. 0.5 A PTC per channel, 3 A latch per bank, power pins never driven.
One cable to the PC
Onboard USB hub: keyboard + control port + 4 COM ports + USB-A.
Works in a browser
Buttons are key events; lamps and meters over Web Serial with our host library.
